Three Newest Mister Pageants to Watch for this Year

It seems like we have got pageants springing up everywhere and the “misters” category - yes, the one where the guys are the main attraction, is making a dramatic statement with a good number in it entering the scene this year. 

The chances of many a male pageant aspirant to snatch an international pageant title is considerably increased this year with the emergence of various pageant groups. It will not be all strut your stuff for participants of these pageants as most organizers made it a point to also back up their brands with some altruistic, philanthropic or some advocacy-focused causes. Let’s check out three of those about to debut this year. 

Mister Worldwide Competition is scheduled to take place on September 6, 2015 in Orlando, Florida. The pageant organization behind it is Hernandez Crown Entertainment Inc., a domestic for profit organization constituted by the laws of the state of Florida on August 27, 2014 for the purpose of pageant productions.

The purpose of the pageant is to promote the tourism of the host city and that of the participating countries. It hopes that through a simple male pageant, representatives can show the world the true beauty of their respective country and society.

The winner of Mister Worldwide Competition will have as his main advocacy the United Nations international campaign against women violence. He will work with other men to educate and prevent abuses to women. He will also work supporting campaigns against child obesity and anti-bullying programs around the world.  

The organization is looking for a man who can be sexy, modelesque and commercial. He should be handsome, intelligent, compassionate and emotionally mature. Moreover, he should be aware and articulate of what contributions he can make to his country and the world.  That's why, in the words of the pageant organizers, they are looking for "The Most Complete Man on Earth."

Host city Orlando in the sunshine state of Florida is another factor that can generate immense interest in this pageant. Florida is known for its tourist attractions of beaches, theme parks and of course, pageants.  

Mister Universal Ambassador is likewise set to take place in September in the island resort of Bali, Indonesia. This place is getting to be a pageant center after it was put in the limelight with its hosting of the Miss World pageant in 2013. Its many scenic spots, diving sites and coral reefs, traditional architecture and dances are among the attractions that have made it the top tourist destination in the country and an enticing place for pageant holding.

Mister Universal Ambassador is a male beauty pageant owned and managed by IMP Organization of Indonesia. The contest is aimed at discovering dedicated men who can inspire the young generation around the world through living a healthy lifestyle, gaining good education and enhancing life skills. The organization believes that impressive men with bright minds will have a big potential power to convince the young generation and the general public of the importance of these advocacies.

The delegates will be flown to Bali, Indonesia to participate in a 10-day period of events and activities consisting of photo session, autograph signing, press conference and media visit, adventuring the tremendous landscape of Bali, sports challenge, micro-group teaching (presenting a paper challenging the youth to live a healthy lifestyle), fashion show, diversity night, auction gift night, gala dinner with luminaries of Bali, and witnessing many Balinese events.

The contest is open to men aged 18-30, of good reputation and a good example of youth in their country. Contestants will be judged according to the following criteria:

1. Wonderful personality
2. Excellent communication skills
3. Ability to influence the young generation by delivering a convincing speech
4. Possessing a creative mindset to inspire other people
5. Intelligence
6. Physique : Athletic (not body-builder type)
7. Photogenic

The winner of this competition will be engaged to take part in activities both in entertainment industry (modeling & TV shows) and world youth affairs such as promoting healthy lifestyle, education and economic creativity for the youth.

Mister United Continents is scheduled to be held on May 30, 2015 in Manila, Philippines. It has adopted the tagline “World’s prestigious pageant searching for the most attractive men across continents.”

Manila is the economic and political capital of the Philippines, home to extensive commerce and some of the most historically and culturally significant landmarks in the country. Rapidly developing, the city is sprawling, bustling and multi-culturally diverse. The city is filled with museums, shops, parks and churches, plus enough nightlife to last until dawn.

Mister United Continents intends to bring together representatives from a wide range of communities and cultures from all over the world to share common values, different advocacies and foster international friendship and understanding. It seeks to promote the importance of service to humanity everywhere in the world by honing the leadership qualities of the delegates to become role models and effective resource persons of chosen advocacies.
